What is RSS?

RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication" or "Rich Site Summary" and is a format for distributing and gathering content from sources across the Web, including newspapers, magazines, and blogs. RSS feeds (or news feeds) are a way for sites to syndicate frequently updated content which users can subscribe to.

How can I use RSS?

Using a program called a News Aggregator, you can subscribe to and display RSS feeds. News aggregators (also called news readers) will download and display RSS feeds for you and will update the feeds regularly to give you the most current information. A number of free and commercial news aggregators are available for download. Popular news readers include FeedReader and FeedDemon on the PC, NetNewsWire and NewsFire on the Mac, or online aggregators such as NewsGator.

Once you've selected a news reader, you will need to point it to the AbovetheInfluence RSS feed at http://www.abovetheinfluence.com/speak/podcasts/rss.xml
